The invention particularly relates to A FLAME PROTECTION GOWN with quick release mechanisms and in particular to an item of personal protective outer wear that a person could wear whilst engaged in firefighting or fire control situations. Additionally the invention could be used in an emergency situation to provide a shield from radiant heat for use in fire emergency events such as house, grass and bushfires.
